The baddest thrashball player on Sera is back. Augustus Cole has always been a fan favorite, and he's got a new look for the final installment. Here comes the Cole Train.

We've been coordinating with Epic to get the straight word on what situation we'll find each of the characters in as Gears of War 3 begins. The team was kind enough to provide us with detailed character descriptions that we've integrated into these visual profiles. Today's installment highlight Augustus Cole, the towering soldier that's been a part of Delta since the first game.

I REALLY like the green. Cole looks much better now. The shaved head and bandana make him look better.
kekeke He looks like a ninja turtle. I think Cole may be my new fav character now.
Might I add he looks like LL Cool J now.

i was on the same thrashball team as cole in high school and to be honest, he wasnt that good at it. It was the rest of the team that made him look good. and not many know this but, he got kicked off the team for using steroids.

The character models are the entire reason i could not get into gears. All the characters seems so....i don't even know. They all have block heads and run like fat kids. They all have heads like the old man from UP! Gears sucks.

@BigCityInc "gear sucks."...doesn't even sound like you have played gears or played enough for you to actually make a comment about the series sucking. Judging by your review of FFXIII, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm liking the green as well. That C.O.G. One Shot he is holding looks bad ass!

It really sucks that gears of war is leaving so soon... well maybe this last installment will truefully be EPIC. (Even more epic than the other two combined...) And I hope they improve multiplayer a little bit also...

i like how Epic isn't biased on race in Gears. You have 2 white guys, a black and hispanic guy on your squad in Gears. too bad it took 3 games to introduce females...
