Outside of video games, Van Aken loves watching reality dating shows with his wife, Kayla, going to brunch on Saturday mornings, taking photos of his two cats with various cameras, and writing music. When he's not competing in a bevy of multiplayer shooters, Van Aken loves to test his wits in immersive sims, stealth and puzzle games, and genre-bending indies. His favorite games include World of Warcraft, Animal Crossing, Breath of the Wild, Dishonored 2, Pokémon Gold, A Short Hike, and yes, Fortnite.
