Titanfall Beta Extended Through February 19

by Mike Futter on Feb 17, 2014 at 04:30 AM

If you still haven’t gotten a chance to play in the Titanfall Beta, you’ve got three days left. Respawn and EA have set and end time for the testing window.

According to the official Titanfall twitter account, the beta will end on Wednesday, February 19 at 6 pm Pacific (it was originally scheduled to close on February 18). The beta is now open on Xbox One and opening on PC (everyone who registered should now have it in their Origin libraries).

The beta includes three game modes (team deathmatch, capture point, and Last Titan Standing, which only offers one life per player). You can reach level 14, customize your pilot and Titan loadouts, and experiment with the burn card system.

Titanfall will be out on March 11 for Xbox One and PC. An Xbox 360 version developed by Bluepoint will follow on March 25.

Our Take
This weekend, Respawn founder Vince Zampella said that the beta would be extended due to the server downtime (and he delivered). You’ve still got more than two days to get your fill before the robots go back into storage until March 11. A little more time with the beta/demo/marketing machine is good news for me.
