This Is eSports Goes To Starcraft World Championships In Episode 9
This week’s This is eSports takes us to Los Angeles for the Starcraft II World Championship Series (WCS). A majority of the episode is an in-depth interview with pro player Choi Seong Hun (known on the circuit as “Polt”) conducted by host Dave Walsh.
During their conversation, Walshy and Polt talk about the differences between Korean fans and those in the United States. They also talk about Polt’s background studying Animal BioTech in Korea, and how he’s taking a break from school to compete.

I found this episode to be a nice change of pace from the previous few that spread out Training Grounds coverage. Hearing from a pro gamer about where he’s been and what his life is like helps put the growing eSports trend in perspective.
