Zynga Loses Two More Top Executives

by Mike Futter on Jun 25, 2013 at 03:57 AM

Things just keep getting worse for former social game titan Zynga. After laying off over 500 employees last month, which followed a growing tide of talent departures, the company has lost two more key individuals.

The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that Zynga's China office lost general manager Andy Tian, who will be "returning to his entrepreneurial roots." Today, GamesIndustry.biz has shared that vice president of partner publishing Rob Dyer has departed.

One of Dyer's responsibilities was working with and promoting the products of third-party developers. This is similar to the now-defunct EA Partners program, which leverages existing publishing competencies on a contract basis.

Prior to joining Zynga, Dyer served a similar role with Sony Computer Entertainment America, handling relationships with third-party publishers and studios.
