Nintendo Confirms Multiplayer Modes For Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Today, Nintendo confirmed in a press release that Dark Moon features both local and online multiplayer modes along with download play capabilities. Last week, a description on Nintendo’s website discussed a local multiplayer mode, but it was the first anybody had heard about it, so the official confirmation couldn't come at a better time. 

You can explore the ScareScraper with up to four other players testing your abilities against a slew of creepies. In hunter mode, you work with others to effectively clear out monster-filled floors in a tower before the clock runs out. A bonus? Bosses are at the top of each tower to really test your skills.
