Layoffs Hit WB Seattle

by Jim Reilly on Nov 04, 2011 at 02:15 PM

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed it made work reductions in its Seattle branches today.

Early reports suggest around 60 employees were affected in total, though Warner Bros. has not confirmed an exact number. "As part of the continual review of our business operations and fluctuating market conditions, we have had to make reductions in our WB Games Seattle workforce," a spokesperson told Game Informer.

Also unconfirmed at this time are which game development studios were affected by this move. Snowblind Studios and Monolith Productions may have been affected as well as WB's own internal studio.

We've followed up with Warner Bros. for additional information and will update this story when we hear back.
