With the Vita launch in Japan last year, Sony unveiled a nice program
allowing Japanese gamers to pay a small fee to download their original
PSP games on the new handheld. Sadly, it's not going to happen here.
Though Psychonauts creator Tim Schafer has expressed the
desire to do a sequel, it has seemed unlikely, but things could be
turning around thanks to a surprise source.
Last year,
Alex Seropian took over as head of Disney Interactive's game development as
the company restructured. Now it looks like Seropian is leaving Disney
altogether.
Gotham City Impostors is going live on PlayStation Network today and on
Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow. While the game itself will cost a mere $15,
it will apparently feature a shocking amount of downloadable content
right from the start.
Anyone reading this probably buys enough games to constantly be fretting
about the cost, but soon Oklahoma residents may have to pay a small
amount more than everyone else.
