"Life... Dreams... Hope... Where'd they come from? And where are they headed...? These things... I am going to destroy!!" - Kefka Palazzo
Hey, I'm James and I'm a life long gamer and general video game fanatic. I played my first video game when I was two years old, Body Blows by Team 17 for the Amiga. I was probably terrible, I can't remember exactly being so young at the time, but playing games on my Dad's Amiga at that young age are some of my earliest and fondest memories. My Dad loves video games also, and that certainly rubbed off on me. I've been collecting video games since I was 17 and have amassed a sizeable collection over the years.
Some other info about me; I'm British, I work in a video game store and my favourite type of games are Japanese RPGs, although I have a love and appreciation for video games of all kinds and I regularly go out of my way to play as many games from as many different genres as I can.
"There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved."

A list of the games I own can be found here. I used to have a similar list on my old GameSpot account. The list currently includes nearly 2000 games across over 40 pieces of hardware, spanning five decades of gaming history. Despite being a collector I don't buy games for the sake of it. I don't consider myself a completionist, I only buy games I have an interest in. I just like a lot of different games.
