  • Aight, with a new Monster Hunter this place will get more use. Things will stay mostly the same, save for the discord server integration. We will be posting the hunts schedule here as usual, but also in a Discord chat. If you haven't used Discord before it is very easy and simple to use messaging software that does not require a download. It is also how we voice chat. I reccomend the discord channel personally but you can still talk and find out when hunts are happening here. on 11 Jul 2016 12:50 AM

  • I'm trying to write about how Exclusives are dumb, but I can never get to a rational conclusion! I never want it to be an insult to exclusives nor am I trying to make exclusives we have seem awful, but I want to point out how irrational they are as a business choice.  I'm stuck to make reviews that won't even matter to most.   • In an RPG, such as Dark Souls, I'm always told that I'm ''supposed'' to play it a certain way. For instance, I'm told, ''You're SUPPOSED to upgrade your stats this way, or else the game won't work.'' If the developer designed his game subjectively and ALLOWED people to ruin it, then really, he failed to design his game at all; he's an idiot. There's no such thing as bad design. There can only be a LACK of design, a lack of structure.  In an RPG, why am I expected to upgrade my health stats as I come across enemies who deal more damage, but I'm not expected to play on the easiest difficulty? If they want me to do what's best for me, then why not make it the default setting?! See, they don't care about balancing the game at all; it goes completely out the window. on 18 Sep 2014 9:56 PM
