expressing my creativity through graphic design, drawing, occasionally
create music, and writing here on GIO whether it be a comment on a news

I've been a part of the GI and GIO community since 2008 and I do not plan on going anywhere else for all my gaming updates, blogs, and forums. I love it here, I love the community, and I love the professionalism and humor in good taste that the GI staff presents. Let's not forget the cynical and sarcastic humor of the great Darth Clark that we get to enjoy annually. It's funny how people still take him so seriously.
I am a big fan of PlayStation and Nintendo. I currently own a PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, a Wii, and a Wii U (which is an excellent system. Don't hate on it).
My first system ever was a NES which was actually my mom's. We had Super Mario Bros., World Track Meet (with the motion pad), Duck Hunt (with that Nintendo Blaster), Dick Tracy, Basketball, Football, and other stuff I don't remember. I was upset when we got rid of it. It stopped working in 1999 probably because of age. Now, I have a Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii, and a Nintendo Wii U. It's hard to choose one particular Nintendo franchise past and present besides the typical Mario that I love the most. Say what you may about their relationship with third-parties, but Nintendo consistently puts out top-quality first-party titles that makes their consoles desirable.
The first console that was ever purchased for our household was a PlayStation where my childhood would be spent playing classics (I feel a bit aged) like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, all the original Crash Bandicoot games, Spyro, Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX, Croc, NAMCO Museum, and any Need for Speed title I could get my hands on. Later on I purchased a PlayStation 2 where I played once again any Need for Speed title especially Need for Speed Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, and Carbon which I believe was their last outstanding title. I also loved the NBA Street franchise, Ratchet & Clank, Star Wars: Battlefront II, Metal Gear Solid, Dragon Ball Z (especially Tenkaichi 2), Resident Evil 4, and much more. My taste in games is very diverse and very open-minded.
I have mixed emotions for Microsoft. A lot of their business decisions have caused me to shy away from their market including their atrocious attempt to see if their fanbase would bite on ridiculous policies like always-online, Kinect spyware, serial codes for games, daily check-ins, and unsharable disk-based games. Although they have since backpedaled from these stances I find it shameful they even tried.
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
