Today I was working with my dad on a roof, and I was carrying up a big sheet of plywood, and all of a sudden I started slipping on the shingle granules until I found myself whacking against the ladder and flopping onto the ground. I fell of the roof, peoples! I feel accomplished. It really didn't hurt a bit, though. But my dad was yelling at me while I was slipping and was afraid I was about to die or something. He's still traumatized by it.

''hey pon, I'm gonna make an action RPG with annoying voice acting, outdated music that sucks, monsters that make the lamest noises you've ever heard, 3 inch pixels, crappy lighting and a absolutely terrible control layout that make you want to throw you'r controler becauce for some reason the right stick makes you jump, you select things with the left bumper and attack with the D-pad wich means that you have to take your thumb away from the move stick every time you want to attack, so in a nut shell it would have no replay value, no emotions, no intersting characters and no imersion, that way I can spend more time on the wepons wich will all be unique. Well what do you think?'' Well, Hunter, I think it's safe to say that you slightly misunderstand. The controls don't affect whether the characters are well-developed, or whether the story is original and creatively paced; as always, controls are subjective when it comes to whether they're ''good'' or not. Pressing L1 to activate things may not be so bad if it's what you're used to. And having each arrow-key make you attack in different ways doesn't sound all that different from what you had to do in some PS1 games. The only way controls could ''ruin'' a game is if they actually PREVENTED you from doing things, like move, jump, and shoot. Some people could make the case that Resident Evil 4 was ''ruined'' because you couldn't walk and shoot at the same time, but it's all left up to personal preference; I could still walk, I could still shoot. I Just couldn't do them simultaneously (but in the case of a ''broken'' game, I'd just give it down on weapons if I couldn't shoot, or down on setting if I couldn't move).
