I've been feeling in a creative rut lately, probably because school has started, it feels like I'm draining creativity. I really need a pick me up.

Is it just me, or do most of the console exclusives so far this generation kind of suck? Seems like third-party is where it's at.

In mid-May, our planet lost someone I believe to have been a great human being. I was first introduced to him in some random comment section on this very site. We became "acquaintances", exchanged Xbox Live info, and proceeded to get to know each other while gaming on XBL. This young man had inner struggles, a shaky past, and an even more uncertain future. Some of his words still resonate within me today, and I truly believe, had he had the help he needed, he might still be with us today. I hadn't heard from him in over 6 weeks, saw no indication of him signing in to XBL, so I did some investigating and found the devastating news of his passing. RIP PapaSomni, while we weren't "friends" in "real life", I consider you a friend in MY life, and you will be missed. I'll see you in the next life, brother.

GI is really deserted lately, which is unfortunate. Maybe we should all have some sort of blog/bio challenge. I'm almost done with the first half of my third year of college, the degree is in sight! :D

So, Snatcher was pretty f*cking awesome. I wasn't a fan of the shooting sections all that much, but overall it was a great adventure game.

Yeah, I'm leaving until this is over. That article wasn't neutral. Look at what it was encouraging, for people to not be part of Gamergate, an outcome that would clearly benefit Anti-Gamergate. It also pushed the fake narrative of Gamergate being a hatemob. Anyone who says this has clearly not actually bothered to look into Gamergate. If lone trolls represent an entire movement, then anti-Gamergate is evil incarnate. This is the violence moral panic all over again, exact same tactics. So this is goodbye for now, I've learned how to tell when I'm not welcome anymore. At least until this issue is over, which probably won't be anytime soon.
