can I say about myself....
I’m not a game expert by any means. But, I’ve been playing games
since I can remember (starting with NES) and I still enjoy playing games
today. I’m an artist, musician, writer by night, and an English teacher by day.
(English as in, as a second language)
I live in the middle of nowhere Japan near Nagasaki (If don’t know
Japan, that’s pretty much the furthest south you can get from Tokyo without
leaving the main islands of which there are four)
If I take a 300$ shinkansen I can get to Tokyo in about 10 hours
(including a 2 hour bus to the train station) If I drive to Tokyo…..good
luck….maybe three days and some hundreds of dollars in tolls later, I’d get
That said, it’s not all bad. I get to buy some of the latest
Japanese games before those in the U.S. (Usually about 2 – 4 months ahead)
I prefer RPG’s and action titles. Some of my favorites include
Final Fantasy, Tales of, Grandia III, Skies of Arcadia, Legend of Zelda…many,
Hopefully I can give some views into the gaming communities here,
and some of the popular titles in Japan. If I ever have time to play….
If I could have any job....it would be a musician....but right
under that would be game artist (such as concept art, storyboard artist, 3D artist or even texture artist) Now if I just had time to draw.......
