The Man of Contradictions
Just revisited Dark Souls... I distinctly remember pain. WHERE IS THE PAIN?!

Huh? I'm...I'm alive! Sweet life flows through my veins once again! Looks like I only need to be resuscitated every couple of months. Speaking of which: if you only had a week to play one last game, what'd it be?

Seeya on the flip side, folks. It's been fun.

You know I don't see why so many people hate the new Mad Max game. I mean it's no gane of the year winner and has serious flaws (including serious repetition in everything), but still the game is absolutely gorgeous, has a ton of stuff to do and it's still pretty fun. So I'd say after playing MGSV, or in my case witness the infamous bug, try mad max out. Not amazing but it could be worst.

Okay. I thought I knew what I was in for when I played Bloodborne. I knew I'd like it a lot. maybe even love it. But it has exceeded every expectation that I had. The atmosphere is out of this world good. Little touches that remind me of REmake. Like individual wall sconces that have candles in them with flickering flames. Volumetric fog in certain locations. Beautifully dark and Gothic architecture. Areas with colorful flowers leading to a forested area. the gameplay is stellar as well. It's going to feel a lot different going back to the slower pace of past Souls games. The quickness of movement is liberating. I haven't even beaten it yet and I've put in a lot of hours. If the quality keeps up like it is, this will officially replace Demon's Souls as my favorite From/Miyazaki game. It's that good.

Does anyone have Skullgirls for PS3? I'm thinking about getting it....

It's been a few months, so I thought I'd post a statue update to let any of you that care know I'm still alive.

Whoever cries for matchmaking in Destiny raids clearly has no idea how complex they are. I can't even do it with six people I know of. I have to do it with actual friends to make any progress.

Practical effects don't always = good. 9 times out of 10 that word "practical" and its very "revival" has become nostalgia bait to pave over bad scripts, acting and stories. CGI is not the enemy. Crap films and hack directors are.

Hey guys, just writing a quick message to you about my current state. I'm not dead! lol I'm doing fine... I do have some news though. As of now, I am officially leaving the GIO community. I know, I know... sad stuff, but I have been given an opportunity to broaden my horizons and work on my own site. No, I won't solicit it here because that would be rude towards the employees of GIO I respect so much. If you guys would like to know where I've gone, feel free to PM me, I won't be deleting this account. I wish you all the best of luck and I'll miss you all!
