  • Wow. The Morris Moore curse of attracting women in relationships and/or being attracted to a woman who turns out to already be in a relationship rages on. The curse first hit me in high school. The curse goes like this: 1: Talk to a woman, 2: she’s showing signs she’s interested in me, 3: BOOM! I find out in a horrible way that she’s already in a relationship. I’m not saying this situation happens every time I talk to a woman. It just happens a good number of times. This last time really stung. I was getting to know this incredibly gorgeous and down to earth woman named Amy. I thought I had hit the jackpot with her. WRONG! SO WRONG! Turns out she already has a boyfriend. And you know what? Life has a funny sense of humor. I can’t even get jealous or mad at her boyfriend because I ended up becoming friends with him without even meaning to! He’s actually a really cool guy and they are good for each other! OW! And I’m totally not one of “those” guys. There’s some guys who are like, “Man! Who cares if she’s in a relationship?! I’m gonna flirt with her anyway!” But I’m not that kinda guy. If a woman I’m interested in turns out to already be in a relationship, I immediately step back. I can stay friends with her but there is just no way I’m gonna try anything on a woman whose already in a relationship. That’s pretty much asking for bad karma and a beat down from a angry boyfriend. Sorry, sorry. I’m just venting at the moment. Frustrated but I’ll get over it in time. *sighs LOUDLY* on 18 May 2015 3:58 PM

  • Is the Kinect-less Xbox One really that great for the long term? Time will tell, but they've really lost a key differentiating factor that I've heard many praise, and now any potential invention in the motion control space is truly effed. The One's Kinect was super advanced and had huge potential, but no dev will gamble on an optional device that won't guarantee a compatible audience. Cliff Bleszinski once said that if MS sucked up the bad press and slower sales of the online dependent version for a couple of years, they would be reaping the benefits of a future-proofed platform in the long run. After all, Sony sold PS3s at a loss for 4 years, but they turned it around by adding to the platform, not reigning things in out of denial. They grew the services until they were attractive and patiently watched the cost go down. I wonder if Microsoft even knows where they're going anymore. on 13 May 2014 11:38 AM

  • I am a Cast Member of Disney once more. I enjoy my role. In the side of things, I am also working in that final update for Jane and a series of small stories with multiple protagonist a la Live a Live. Got some gnarly feedback from it too. on 23 Feb 2015 2:17 PM
