  •  The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent; but if we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death — however mutable man may be able to make them — our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light. Stanley Kubrick on 21 Mar 2014 3:22 PM

  • Man, I love to write!!!! As you guys know, I’m working really hard on this huge medieval fantasy book series. I’m pouring my heart into it. I wanna make sure its nearly flawless and perfect in my eyes when I finally get it published. I created this dynamic cast of characters and situation that's “complicated yet simple to grasp”. I take writing advice from various comic writers, manga writers, and novelists. Its amazing how great their advice and tips can be. My writing mentor in college really likes my writing. He said my writing is weird and brilliant at the same time. He said I have the potential to release a smash hit or a cult classic. I would just be grateful if a few people will like my book but man... if my first book becomes a huge hit then I would cry tears of joy. I’m bringing this up cuz I have a good amount of action scenes in my book. Action scenes need to be incredible and impress the reader. The first action scene I originally had planned was fine but I suddenly realized it could be so much better. My mind began racing with how I could improve it. And it hit me... I FINALLY UNDERSTAND OTHER WRITERS WHO SAY THEIR CHARACTERS BEGIN TO BEHAVE ON THEIR OWN AND THE WRITER FEELS LIKE A GATEWAY TO THE MATERIAL. I’m merely a young man who fell down a hole into a world that ALREADY existed. Its my job to tell others what I see and experience. Oh man... the adrenaline. I love this feeling. I know this is a kinda weird status update but I had to post it. I’m a writer, guys. I’m proud of it. ^.^ I’m posting two direct quotes from my book right beneath this post just to give a small taste of my book. on 17 Apr 2014 12:05 AM
