I have a busy week ahead, so I uploaded early this week! EDIT: I updated the post time this morning to make sure I didn't confuse anyone who's used to this going up on Monday mornings, HAHA!
UPDATE: It's confirmed! We will have our very first guest host on the next episode of Robot in the Corner. This guest is a friend of ours... we hope you enjoy his inclusion on the show. Don't get too excited, but Hist is helping me figure out the best way to have phoned-in guests on the show, so bear with us as we figure out the technical side of this future, potential inclusion to our podcast arsenal.
UPDATE: Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This is the perfect time to remind all of you to submit your 3 things your thankful for in the video game industry (see below for more details.) We'll be recording this weekend (either Saturday or Sunday) so get those in ASAP if you want them shared on the show! :)
Rather than write a review for Call of Duty: Black Ops, I decided to write a blog about my favorite thing from the game... the Easter Eggs! (and my thoughts on Easter Eggs in general.)
UPDATE: Reminder - We are recording episode 10 tomorrow (Sunday, November 21.) Last chance to submit your ideas for the future of the Call of Duty series if you want us to share them on the show. Also, don't forget to vote for your favorite dodgeball team. You can submit both of these (your Call of Duty ideas and your vote for best dodgeball team) in the comments section below.
UPDATE: We are about a day and a half away from the recording of our next episode. Wes had a really great question during our "Ask the Robot" segment (in episode 7) where he asked us to pick four original video game characters for a game of dodgeball. On episode 8, we asked you to submit your picks (for a four player team of original video game characters, for a game of dodgeball.) So, last chance! PLEASE, if you want us to share your team on episode 9 (which will be available on Monday, November 15, by the way), then please comment below or email us at email@example.com. Thanks! :)
Episode 7 is available now. This week, we talk about Google TV, and we do our very first edition of "Ask the Robot", which includes our predictions for the 2010 Game of the Year.
UPDATE: I forgot to mention this when we recorded episode 6, but we'll be doing our first Q&A sement on the next episode (7). If you have a question for us, please submit it in the comments section below or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
UPDATE: I bought Super Meat Boy - wow, this game is fun! It has warp zones, a light & dark world, 8-bit style levels, 16-bit style levels, characters you unlock by finding, characters you unlock by purchasing (with the bandages you collect) and more. It hasn't been BRUTALLY challenging (yet.) There was a few times that I got stuck and died several times in a row, but the comical "all attempts replaying at the same time" replay at the end of each level completed helped alleviate the tension.
