Since December of last year (2009), I've owned all three current generation consoles. In early 2007, I bought a Nintendo Wii. Why? Because I was intrigued by the new technology and I was psyched about the Virtual Console (I've utilized it too... More

UPDATE: We are about a day and a half away from the recording of our next episode. Wes had a really great question during our "Ask the Robot" segment (in episode 7) where he asked us to pick four original video game characters for a game of dodgeball. On episode 8, we asked you to submit your picks (for a four player team of original video game characters, for a game of dodgeball.) So, last chance! PLEASE, if you want us to share your team on episode 9 (which will be available on Monday, November 15, by the way), then please comment below or email us at robotinthecorner@gmail.com. Thanks! :)

  • Super Meat Boy - Testing My Motivation for Playing Games

    13

UPDATE: I bought Super Meat Boy - wow, this game is fun! It has warp zones, a light & dark world, 8-bit style levels, 16-bit style levels, characters you unlock by finding, characters you unlock by purchasing (with the bandages you collect) and more. It hasn't been BRUTALLY challenging (yet.) There was a few times that I got stuck and died several times in a row, but the comical "all attempts replaying at the same time" replay at the end of each level completed helped alleviate the tension.
