Okay. I thought I knew what I was in for when I played Bloodborne. I knew I'd like it a lot. maybe even love it. But it has exceeded every expectation that I had. The atmosphere is out of this world good. Little touches that remind me of REmake. Like individual wall sconces that have candles in them with flickering flames. Volumetric fog in certain locations. Beautifully dark and Gothic architecture. Areas with colorful flowers leading to a forested area. the gameplay is stellar as well. It's going to feel a lot different going back to the slower pace of past Souls games. The quickness of movement is liberating. I haven't even beaten it yet and I've put in a lot of hours. If the quality keeps up like it is, this will officially replace Demon's Souls as my favorite From/Miyazaki game. It's that good.

Frib on Fire
Finished Batman, thought the whole inner psyche battle was great. Put in the extra hour for the Nightfall protocol ending, it was awful. YouTubed the 100% ending... so glad I didn't waste my time getting that.

Ypu always present a challenge. You never relent, you never quit. You always try to bring me down. Yet here I am. No longer am I the fool that carelessly walked straight to his death. The person that stands before you is one who ready for whatever challenge you throw at him. No matter what you do I will never back down. No matter the setback I will rise back up and finish this fight. You may have new tricks for me, but so do I. Dark Souls 3, prepare yourself. It is now time to show you what I've learned from you and what I learned on my own.

I think perhaps the saddest thing about the rise of gaming in youth culture is youtube. These youtubers impress upon these young gamers that games are exclusively a social experience. When some of the greatest moments in games are better as intimate experiences between the player and the designed product

Huh? I'm...I'm alive! Sweet life flows through my veins once again! Looks like I only need to be resuscitated every couple of months. Speaking of which: if you only had a week to play one last game, what'd it be?

What are you playing? I need to get back on track and finish Persona 3. I'm so close to the end, I have just been getting distracted by other games( like Super Mario Maker and Final Fantasy XIII-2).
