Epic Giving Away Free Glider After Buggy Unvaulting Event
To make up for yesterday's buggy in-game Unvaulting event, Epic Games is giving away a free glider to Fortnite players as an apology.
The Unvaulting event saw players go to Loot Lake and vote to bring the drum gun back into the item pool from the vault. However, many players weren't able to witness the event at all because of technical issues.
In response, Epic is offering the Arcana Glider (worth 1,200 V-Bucks) to anyone that was in the Unvaulting Playlist, regardless of whether they missed out or not. If you've already bought the glider beforehand, you'll be refunded. The glider or refund should appear in players' accounts in "the coming days."
We apologize that some players were unable to view the Unvaulting event. Anyone who jumped into the Unvaulting playlist will be granted the Arcana Glider in the coming days. Players who purchased the Arcana Glider previously will be refunded their V-Bucks.

Around the same time as the Unvaulting event, a volcano in Fortnite erupted leaving Retail Row and Tilted Towers in ruins. A rock also hit Polar Peak, leaving a large crack in the ice.
