We're fast approaching a post-apocalyptic overload, with more and more games turning toward the hopeless setting. Sheltered offers something a bit different, however, focusing on a family and their simple goal of staying alive.

Your family consists of two parents and their children, which makes them vulnerable to both natural hazards such as radiation, as well as attacks from fellow survivors. Of course, you can also try to avoid conflict and try to convince the people you meet to join you in your shelter. That comes with its own set of problems; do you have the supplies to keep them fed and alive, too?

Take a look at the trailer below to see some of the game in action. As it says, nothing lasts. You'll have to deal with the consequences of death, as it affects the mental stability of those left behind.

Ubicode's game was successfully Kickstarted last year, and Team17 signed on as publisher a while later. It's due out for a 2015 release on PC and consoles.
