Pokémon Sun
One of the first trailer for Pokémon Sun & Moon featured a live-action mother and son. Apparently we will be learning more about them soon.
The first mini-episode of this special series is online now and is more or less the same thing we saw in their introduction. We don't know much, but the mother and son are clearly displaced living in Hawaii, but it's okay! Much like math and facial expressions Pokémon is a universal language and allows him to make friends, despite the barriers of communications.
