Six Years After Release, Two Worlds II Gets New Expansion And Season Pass

by Jordan Leendertsen on Apr 21, 2017 at 11:55 AM

Remember Two Worlds II? If you liked it when it came out six years ago, you may want to dust off your copy, as the game is getting a new expansion and a season pass. The PC expansion, titled Call of the Tenebrae, delivers engine update, new areas and characters, and a bevy of new main story and side missions.

Publisher Topware Interactive also revealed a season pass. Including Call of the Tenebrae, the pass also entitles players to a second upcoming expansion, Shattered Embrace, and two multiplayer map packs.

Call of the Tenebrae will release on May 25 for $10 as an expansion or $15 as a standalone adventure. Unfortunately for console players, the new content isn't coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

When we reviewed Two Worlds II back in 2011, we gave it a 7.75. You can read that full review here
