Valve Talks About Changes Coming To Steam In 2019

Another year, more massive sales for Valve's Steam storefront, which boasted an average of 1.7 million new customers per month throughout the year. In its 2018 review post, the company discussed big changes ahead for Steam, both the storefront and program.

You can read the whole list here but the biggest takeaways from Valve are as follows. The company is working on a new recommendation search engine that will do an improved job of "matching players to games based on their individual choices." Steam will also receive a new mobile chat app, a new events systems, an update to the Steam library, and Valve will officially bring the storefront to China in 2019.
