The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel publisher XSEED Games has announced a North American release date for the popular JRPG. Series fans will see the game come to western shores later this month.
Trails of Cold Steel is scheduled to release in North America on December 22. Alongside the $39.99 standard edition, a $49.99 limited “Lionheart Edition” will also be available in stores, containing an art book with 100 pages of artwork from the game and its planned 2016 sequel Trails of Cold Steel II. A 1.5” emblem pin representing the protagonists’ homeland of the Erebonian Empire is also included. Trails of Cold Steel takes place on the same continent as previous Legend of Heroes series title, 2004's Trails in The Sky.
Trails of Cold Steel’s standard edition will be made available in a physical edition and digital edition on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. For a look at the game in action, check out the November announcement trailer below.
