The Last of Us is a good game, but overrated
on October 19, 2014 at 12:15 AM
Naughty Dog has quickly become one of my favorite developers this generation. With their hit Game series Uncharted Naughty Dog has become the beacon of action games. The Last of Us is no exception, while its I don't think its the game that everybody makes it out to be. In area's where The Last...

Worth Every Bit of Praise, Most Important Game of our Time
on February 11, 2014 at 11:31 PM
I cannot do this game justice by any means. I actually wrote a previous review to this some time back but GI's lovely user review glitch deleted it. I will not try and go in depth about the humanity, sacrifice or loss in the game and how impactful they are. It has been said enough and the multiple...
The Last of Us: Among the Best of Us
on October 25, 2013 at 08:58 PM
Few games have made as much of an impact this year as The Last of Us and it rightfully earns its place in fans’ hearts in surprising and unparalleled ways. Brutal, foreboding, shocking, haunting: all of these words can describe the level of artistic effort that Naughty Dog has put into its tortured...
The Last of Us is an Amazing game, yet slightly overrated
on October 16, 2013 at 11:00 PM
Hear me out. This game was one of the most engaging experiences I've had from a story in a looooong time. The character and relationship development between Joel and Ellie was fascinating. Those few sweet moments in between the extremely violent combat scenarios, when you get to hear their mundane...
Zombie Apocalypse - Glamour + Talent = The Last of Us
on August 19, 2013 at 05:54 AM
I really do love art. All types of it. Sure, I’m obviously more drawn to certain forms of it than others but I appreciate all art for what it does and what it means to the people both creating and observing it. No matter what particular medium it is coming from, when a certain form of art can strike...
The Last of Us Review: Substance Without Fun
on August 14, 2013 at 11:53 PM
While I was waiting for The Last of Us to install on my PS3's hard drive, I sat and contemplated how I would approach Naughty Dog's latest adventure. Aware that they were pushing narrative more than ever before, I decided to focus my attention on the gameplay, and just absorb the narrative as...

I really loved this game. The story was just amazing especially the beginning. I had no problems with this game. I really recommend this to play who like playing sad games and story games. I never got to try out multiplayer but it looks really fun.
An Extraordinary story of Survival
on July 24, 2013 at 12:09 AM
I'm only 16 and soon 17, but since the age of 3 i have played hundreds of games, but only a small handfull have been as amazing as this one. The graphics first off are very realistic and are smooth in textures and both environments and people are very well made. The lighting and framerate stays constant...
The Best Has Been Saved For Last
on July 20, 2013 at 08:00 AM
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but Naughty Dog has taken a gradual, downward spiral in terms of how the tone of their games has been over time. Crash Bandicoot had all the pleasant, kid-friendly strangeness of Mario games with a preposterous setting built around fun platforming. Jak and...
Video Game Review: The Last of Us
on July 11, 2013 at 03:43 PM
This was just what I needed. It seems to be an ongoing trend for me these days, but the only video games that I seem to be playing, and playing to completion might I add, are these zombie/apocalyptic games, first with The Walking Dead, and now with The Last of Us. You'd think I'd be tired of...
The Last of Us Review: The Last great PS3 exclusive
on July 11, 2013 at 01:22 AM
After a stunning and powerful introduction, players are thrust into the world of The Last of Us a good 20 years after a new fungus species decimated the human population and turned areas outside of military control into bandit infested wastelands. Playing as a hardened smuggler named Joel you see how...
Old concept, new ideas.
on June 28, 2013 at 01:28 PM
One of the things I like about post-apocalyptic worlds is how quickly humanity crashes and breaks. Trust, love, sympathy, among other feelings is thrown out the window as you are quickly turned back into your primitive state of mind with only one objective, surviving. Naughty Dog does all this and adds...
The Last of Us
on June 24, 2013 at 01:08 PM
NOTE: This is a spoiler-free review. It is, to this point, undeniable that Naughty Dog knows how to makes excellent games that make you feel, think, and react. Undeniable. They have unquestionably transcended the medium by going from the loving and carefully crafted Crash Bandicoot series to that of...
Out of Hope, and Better for it
on June 21, 2013 at 04:07 PM
The Last of Us, the latest game developed by Naughty Dog, the studio who has brought us the wonderful Uncharted series, is a game that is not easily digested. There are some points of note that you should take into account before playing this game, such as the incredibly brutal violence, the vulgar language...
A Stunningly Beautiful Tale of Hope and Sacrifice
on June 20, 2013 at 01:31 AM
********** As Seen On The Young Folks ********** Naughty Dog has crafted an experience that simply can not be touched by nearly any other development studio. Looking beyond its fantastic survival-oriented gameplay and jaw-dropping visual appeal, The Last of Us is a game that left me with a lasting impression...
on June 19, 2013 at 03:04 PM
I'm probably going to get *** for this, but I wasn't terribly impressed by The Last "Overhyped as ***" of Us. I will admit, the graphics, voice acting, and story were all above the norm, and as a whole the game functioned, but it didn't introduce nearly enough new things to make...
A Beautiful Apocalypse
on June 18, 2013 at 10:28 AM
The Last Of Us is perhaps the most anticipated game of 2013, and maybe the most well received game of 2013 so far. Does it deserve all this praise? In short, yes. The Last Of Us is one of the greatest games I have ever played, with an extremely dramatic and emotional story to boot. You play as Joel,...
The Last Of Us: Redefining...Everything
on June 17, 2013 at 11:51 AM
Coming up with a tagline for this review was an exercise in inadequacy. There is no collection of a few summarized words that can do justice to The Last Of Us. It is, without a doubt, one of the greatest gaming experiences of my over three decades of playing video games. The Last Of Us has kept me awake...
