Insulting Robots? Deadly Tests? A clapping potato? Yep. It's Portal 2.
on November 21, 2011 at 03:42 PM
Portal came out of nowhere. It was originally included in The Orange Box. Being on the same disc as The Half-Life 2 games and Team Fortress 2, it was overlooked by most everyone until they actually played it. What started out as a mere mod of Half-Life 2 became a puzzling yet short masterpiece that became...
Going Back To A Place You Loved

When it comes down to it, the average gamer knows who Valve is and understands what kind of games they bring out and Portal 2 is no exception to this. Anyone that played Portal can tell you that it is a short and quick puzzle game that people have grown to love and appreciate, but Portal 2 is a whole...
Portal 2: Great puzzles, great lines, great game.

I went to Gamestop one day with Portal 2 and CoD: Black Ops fighting to be my purchase. It just so happened that Gamestop had a sale going on for new Portal 2 games, so I decided to buy it. When I was able to set it into the disc tray, I didn't really know exactly what to expect, having not played...
Portal 2 Review: Extreme Fun With Science
on June 20, 2011 at 07:29 PM
In short, Portal 2 is an extraordinary game. It stimulates the mind with its clever puzzles, it amuses with its hilarious dialogue, and delivers a satisfying experience. Let's get down to the main part: the gameplay. Describing Portal 2 as "Clever" is an understatement, in my opinion. The...

This is by far one of my favorite games, ever. The story as simple as it is, is still very good, very fitting to the world of Portal. The voice acting is suburb, and this is the funniest games I have ever played. There were times were I literally had to pause the game and stop playing because i was laughing...

When it first released in 2007 as part of The Orange Box as a sort of experiment, the original Portal had little in the way of fanfare or expectations. It went on to become a breakout success, combining mind-blowing gameplay, pitch perfect pacing, and fantastic writing to create an experience that resonated...
Brilliant aside from constant loading screens.

Excellent puzzle platforming and humor. The only drawback is the ten seconds of load screen that interrupts every three to five minutes of gameplay. I'ven't had a chance to try co-op as PSN is, I believe, still currently down.

Portal 2 Review Kid Safe: Very High Game Quality: Very High Genre: First-Person Shooter/Puzzler - These games are characterized by the viewpoint and weapons used in the title. In a first person shooter, you are looking down the barrel of a gun as though you yourself are holding the weapon. However, unlike...
Portal 2 (I love this game)
on April 22, 2011 at 08:45 PM
I can't believe I'm saying this but I nominate this game for best achievement in story telling of all time. This is the best story of any game I have ever played. Now that's a bold statement especially since I have played Mass Effect 2, RDR, Uncharted 2 and a lot more but trust me on this...
The Good vs Bad when it comes down to Portal 2
on April 20, 2011 at 11:49 AM
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Portal 2 has been a game that I’ve wanted to play since Gabe Newell’s rather shocking announcement for its release at E3 2010. I have never owned the first Portal, but upon renting and playing it I was amazed by its originality and it became...
A GREAT game

Portal 2 is an amazing game. the platforming, puzzle elements, story and especially the voice acting are all top notch. The level of interaction between you, and characters like wheatley astounded me. Also, the graphics and physics are all superb, with foliage looking at its best, and the aperture science...
