  • So after reading the review, the writer gushes about how the game keeps the Persona franchise alive, but also gushes on the improvements to the game. The only complaint(s?) I can see is a difficult camera in dungeons and *gasp* it can be grindy. It's a JRPG. Grind is part of the experience, not a flaw. If you don't like grinds, you don't like JRPG's. That should not be something that knocks a score. So from this POV, the game lost a whole 1.5 on a camera? I honestly think this grade should be taken with a grain of salt. I am looking forward to getting this and logging the standard slew of hours into yet another stellar Persona title! Gotta have something to tide me over until the next SMT/Persona game right?

  • Yeah, it's interesting how low Persona game scores are across the board on Game Informer, where they're much higher almost everywhere else. P4G has between 90 and 100 everywhere else, trending towards the higher number. It's almost certain to be the highest rated game on the Vita, a full 5-6 points above the next highest rated game, the very excellent Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.
