Mordheim: City of the Damned now has an official gameplay trailer. The video delves into specifics to give those interested a comprehensive rundown of the game’s mechanics.
City of the Damned is a tactical RPG based on Mordheim, a tabletop game by Games Workshop set in the Warhammer universe. It takes cues from the board game's lore and world for setting, but adds action gameplay elements to the established strategy RPG formula.
In the game, players take the reins of one of several factions, building and customizing their army to claim regions of Mordheim after a comet lands on the city. The video below exemplifies the game's action-centric take on the strategy RPG genre and is accompanied by a narrator explaining the systems and dynamics present during gameplay.
