Guitar Hero Live
FreeStyleGames is drastically shaking up the formula for one of gaming's biggest franchises with Guitar Hero Live. The comeback entry is changing the computer graphics to live-action video, the five colored buttons to six buttons across two rows, and the distribution more digitally focused. To show how it accomplished such massive changes for the upcoming title, FreeStyleGames has released a behind the scenes trailer showing off the process and how they made the experience feel like a live concert.
The video sees creative director and studio head Jamie Jackson, director of projects Jon Napier, and producer Joel Davey talking about why now is the right time for Guitar Hero to come back, how the team changed the point-of-view for gameplay, why GHTV is something to be excited for, and the reason for the new guitar controller. You can watch the video below.
