Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime
Atari has released a new trailer for its upcoming downloadable game Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, highlighting its four-player multiplayer mode. While crossing the proton packs' streams was an issue of paramount concern in the movies, it appears as though the rookies in Sanctum of Slime are equipped with gear that handles that for them automatically. Whew.
Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime includes a job-based mission structure, in which players visit a number of haunted locales and zap the offending ghosts, including larger boss encounters. A few locations are highlighted in the video, including the kitchen area shown above. Along the way, players can upgrade their equipment, gaining access to gear including proton streams, plasma inductors, and the impressive-sounding fermion shock.
Both local and online multiplayer modes are supported, so you have no excuse not to be able to round up a crew when the game is released March 23.
