The lights are on
Simple question here, folks- do you or do you not like the option to prevent perma-death in the new Fire Emblem game?
I personally think it's a great addition for a couple of reasons. First off, the option allows a wider audience to be able to play and appreciate the game. It's a good idea business-wise, and can help the continuation of the series in the long run.
Secondly, as someone who has less time to play video games I don't necessarily want to have to restart a half-hour battle because one of my favorite characters got hit with an unlucky shot. Yes, I understand that this is part of the challenge (and one I enjoyed when I played the Sacred Stones game), but now that I don't have a whole lot of free time I like to make every second of my game play count. Casual mode gives me exactly that while providing enough of a challenge that I still feel like I'm playing a legitimate strategy game.
