The lights are on
ANY game that gets credit for accurately paying homage to Ocarina of TIme, one of the greatest games ever created, Needs to be in every gamer's catalog. I can't WAIT to finish playing ACII and then I am picking this game up!
i was pretty much set to buy it, but it doesnt sound like much replay value is in it, so ima rent it first, and if i feel like i'd wanna do a couple playthroughs, then ill buy it
Exploration like Zelda, combat like God of War, a puzzle like Portal, and a hero like WarCraft's Arthas wielding a sword like Frostmourne...
If the secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources, Darksiders has failed at being creative. However, both GI reviews make it sound like a blast to play nonetheless.
Sometimes it's not a bad thing to stick to an awesome story. One of the horsemen of the Apocalypse, come on, that sounds like it is going to a badass game. It drops tomorrow but at least to me doesn't seem like it's gotten a whole lot of attention other than the mandatory reviews and such. I think it's gonna a be a sleeper breakout through word of mouth.
It looks really good, My friend worked on some of the art for this game, so i'm gonna buy it. even if the replayability is low, i'm willing to pay for a great game experience.
Yeah I can't decide if I want to purchase this or not. I have it reserved at Gamestop but I don't know if I want to spend $65 for a game that might last 10 or so hours.
i will definantly pick this game up, i mean so what if it has similarities to zelda and god of war, those were great games, and the story of darksiders alone gives it a unique atmosphere. overall looks like a fun game
Hmmm....I'm on the fence with this one. The game's graphics look okay and the replay looks to be moderate and to spend $55 on a game that just okay.......well I've just toppled over the fence towards the dark side (that's a Negative-by the way)!
I am pleasantly surprised with this game. A definite sleeper hit for me.
"A season for all things. A time to live, and a time to die, a time to build...and a time to destroy!"
I ended up purchasing the game. I have only played about an hour or so of it but it is very well done. I don't regret the purchase.
I went to GameStop and bought a copy. The bloody side of LoZ. This game has everything I hoped for. Some puzzles had me scratching my head for about 20 minutes. Overall the story along with the combat and skills required deserved the rating it got. Hopeful for sequel?
this game exceeded my expectations its a great game overall and i still need to beat but just picked up BFBC2 so I'm playing that right now... i love this game just check out my profile lol
