Better than the critics say
on May 19, 2014 at 07:13 PM
This game is not as bad as all the ratings give it. The controls issue is a little bit annoying but can be easily remedied by using the options and changing the control scheme. I found that mapping grenades to the O button was effective, and I haven't had problems on the back touch screen. I personally...
Great Game at its Portable Best
on May 17, 2014 at 03:02 PM
I bought BL2 Vita and have actually been really impressed by it. The first thing I would suggest for anyone thinking about buying this game is to invest in some trigger grips for your Vita ($14.99). They will solve nearly every control complaint levied at this game. Gives you a wider grip on the Vita...
it 's playable, they are exaggerating the flaws. it s a must buy for the Vita owner.

Good game, obviously runs slower than the console counter parts. But it is an enjoyable and playable expirence, it s Borderlands on the go. A lot of content for a small price. I really like it! Keep 'em coming Sony!! I have a retail copy, maybe the digital runs worst... my guess. Cause i have not...
Just stay away. FAR away...

While I admire what Iron Galaxy and 2K has tried to do (bringing one of the best selling FPS's to the Vita in Borderlands 2), it simply doesn't work. For starters, much of the game's visual polish cannot transfer over to the Vita. Therefore, you get the dreaded pop-in, blurring, and confusion...
borderlands 2 a really, Really good game
on March 05, 2014 at 05:54 AM
This game is basically skyrim with every crazy co-op shooter and its AMAZING. Any way you look at it it is awesome and fun. From the different charecter powers to the infinite amount of guns this is great. And one more thing. BEST CO-OP SHOOTER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is my favorite game ever. The story, characters, developer support, gameplay, and just sheer amount of content keep you coming back time and time again. Best when played with friends and is also split screen, something you don't see often on the x-box or ps3.
My favorite game of all time

I could gush for hours about the sheer joyful and over-all incredible experience Borderlands 2 offers to every player smart and adventurous enough to shell out their dough for this unique game. I know it came out a year ago, but when I started making reviews, I knew I would have to share this game. If...

Take everything you loved about the first Borderlands, and multiply it by ten. Borderlands 2 is an absolutely incredible game, and in my opinion, the best release of 2012. The quirky characters are back, the gratuitous violence, the bazillion guns, the incredible variety of skill trees to explore, the...
A Mediocre Wasteland
on June 04, 2013 at 06:07 PM
I had heard of Borderlands and how great of a game it was. I had always wanted to try it, but I never really got around to it. Now that Borderlands 2 has been released, I got to try out the game all for myself. I came back less than impressed. Starting out, you can immediately realize that the old post...
Best game of 2012
on May 03, 2013 at 02:39 PM
First things first. This was the best game released in 2012. I remember when they announced the sequel I thought "How can they possibly improve on a game so good as the first one?" Well, they did in basically every way. If you liked Borderlands 1, this will likely be your favorite game from...
Unbelievable, that something like Borderlands could be improved upon this much!!!
on April 03, 2013 at 02:17 AM
If you played the first Borderlands then you already know you want to see what they've done with the second!!! This game was a blast, not to mention Lilith has a voice along with all the other vault hunters. So it has a bit more of that crazy that made the first game so much fun to play through....
It succeeds where others failed.

Hooked, from 2 minutes in is the only way I can describe what this game felt like. I chose the Siren and my Brother-in-Law chose the commando, and off we went into a game I wasn't exactly sure I was going to enjoy. Didn't care to much for the first one, played it for about 3 or 4 hours then decided...
Borderlands returns with magnificent results
on March 28, 2013 at 09:27 AM
The original borderlands was a nice start to a hopeful a new successful series. It did have flaws, and you can only go up. Borderlands 2 didn't just go up, it skyrocketed. Every single detail that you had a problem with in the original borderlands is improved greatly in this amazing sequel. The graphics...
A Lootfest For The Ages
on March 04, 2013 at 06:30 PM
If you told me when the original Borderlands came out that its sequel would be one of my favorite games of all time and that it would have a story worth telling, I wouldn't have believed you. The first game was great, but nothing to really scream and shout about. However, then I played the sequel...
2 > 1 > Everything Else
A Nice Rakk
on February 20, 2013 at 05:37 PM
Hands down, better than 1 in every way. It took everything about 1, and made it way better. As for comparing it to contemporary games, it surpasses CoD, and just about everything else in all ways possible way. It's humorous, action-packed, intense, beautiful, amazing, and most importantly, badass...
Buttstallion, bonerfarts, midgets, oh my!
on January 27, 2013 at 10:17 PM
Borderlands 2 is what a sequel should be. Developed by Gearbox Software, It took the core ideas of the original game and refined them, notably the guns. In this lootfest, players take control of one of four classes, each varied and with three separate skill trees that add to the already outstanding replayability...
Wide-Open World with Great Combat
on January 04, 2013 at 01:38 PM
When I first started playing this game, it started off boring and slow. In mid-game, it started getting fun and interesting. The setting in Borderlands 2 is a wide-open world, in other words, anywhere you go is free and doesn't have to be towards a mission at all. I walked Pandora multiple times...

It was over a year ago that a friend of mine recommended I try Borderlands. I enjoyed spending hours with him on Pandora and shooting the comical bandits whose inspiration seems to have been taken from a Mad Max film. The underlying comedic references were good, but there was something. I found myself...
Grinder or Pickup and play?
on November 05, 2012 at 12:00 PM
With recently completing this game, I found it to be similar to the first installment. I mean that in both the good way and the bad way.. There are still thousands of guns and items galore, a long with some interesting characters and dialogue, and mobs that you'll laugh at or fear when sighted. This...
Bigger, Better, and More Bada$$

Many games have experimented with genre blending, and three years ago, Gearbox decided to blend the best aspects of a co-op shooter and RPG gameplay. Soon after, Borderlands was born and was met with critical and consumer acclaim. On September 18, Borderlands 2 was released, and Gearbox did an excellent...
