The lights are on
I'm not that old of a gamer being only 19 but if I had to pick one of my favorite classics I'd have to go with crash bandicoot. Crash was one of the first games I played and I fell in love with it. I've noticed that over the years the game has made many sequels, but with each new game, crash looses the charm and the fun that I fell in love with. I would love to have this game brought back but with a fresh approach that heightens the now stagnant game play and utilizes new technology. I would also like to see the story brought back to its roots before it was convoluted with all these characters and side plots. I fell in love with crash because of the fun, addicting and sometimes challenging game play. Keep it fun and exciting. Keep it simple. What game would you like to see be given a second chance for a new age?
hey i'm only 21 but i've been a gamer since i was 4 or 5. i'd have to say that a remake of Shadows of the Empire from the N64 would be a great idea. the story is a really great piece of the star wars saga about the events between episodes V and VI. i've read the book by Steve Perry twice and modernizing the game play would really make me happy.
Super Mario RPG. The game took mario characters and put them into a Final Fantasy style RPG world. Imagine that same concept with todays graphics.
I was just wondering what games you think deserve to be revived on the current cosoles.
My top 5 would have to be....
1.Skies of Arcadia
2.Legend of Dragoon
3.Project Justice
4.Odd World ( man that would rock )
5.Earthworm Jim, keep it 2D
Great thread! I would have to suggest:
5. Battletoads (keep it hard, keep it awesome)
4. R.A.D.D. (one incredible game with one terrible camera and textures)
3. Bushido Blade (that would be all kinds of sick)
2. Comix-Zone (do you remember this game? It really was a comic book!)
1. RIVER CITY RANSOM (no other game was so much fun, so japanese-y, so completely badass than River City Ransom, IMO)
PS3 Lovers Unite!!
Boulder Dash
Donkey Kong Country
Rampage
Mrylnys Castle
Mortal Kombat(strictly characters from their world)
Oddworld, Earthworm Jim, Donkey Kong Country, Arctic Thunder, MVP Baseball
The GOOD sonic games..

If it's dead, it should probably stay that way.
still waiting for that Splatterhouse remake (what happened to that anyway? haven't heard anything about it these past couple of months.), Cybernator (old school Konami loving!), Act Raiser (oh, yes indeed), a REAL sequel to Secret of Mana (like the original only better! the other spinoffs have sucked!), and how about Illusion of Gaia? i think there was a sequel made for it, but i think it only came out in Japan. i may be mistaken. but i loved that game back in the day.
1.Blaster Master. Man, I LOVED this game. One of my all time favs
2. Cobra Command
3.BloodRayne (I know, I know, but she had some awesome ways to kill)
4.Legacy of Kain
5.Can't think of another original answer, so I'll go with Donkey Kong
I'd love to see the return of:
Tobal
Alex Kidd
Marvel Land
Little Ninja Brothers
Jericho
