GI Show 203: Microsoft Dumps Kinect, Nintendo Struggles, Review Roundup

by Matt Helgeson on May 15, 2014 at 02:00 PM

Against all odds, we're back with another podcast to talk about some game hardware that's even worse off than our podcast computer.

In the first segment, host Matt Helgeson is joined by Matt Bertz, Bryan Vore, Jeff Marchiafava, and Joe Juba to talk about the fallout from – and possible benefit of – Microsoft's decision to ditch the Kinect and release a $399 version of the Xbox One. We also ponder Nintendo's future in the home console market with the Wii U in light of recent poor sales numbers.

In the second segment, Matt Miller and Dan Tack stop by to talk about two solid sleeper titles for this week – Super Time Force and Bound by Flame.
