This Doom Castlevania Mod Whips You Into Shape
Modder Batandy, an Italian fan who is best known for their Doom mods, has released a cool mod that recreates Castlevania in first-person.
Castlevania: Simon's Destiny is a remake of the original Castlevania game in Doom's engine, letting you whip, throw knives, douse enemies in holy water, and all the fun stuff that helped alleviate the frustrations of a Castlevania playthrough. It is a fast-paced, almost character action-like take on Castlevania that is surprisingly faithful to the game's original designs.
