Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 2 Coming In 2018
Krysten Ritter, the actress who plays the main character Jessica Jones in the Netflix drama of the same name, has confirmed on her Twitter that Jessica Jones season 2 will be arriving in 2018.
Marvel's Jessica Jones series premiered in 2015 as part of Marvel's Cinematic Universe, acknowledging but not interacting with the movies but directly connecting to Marvel's other Netflix TV shows. The storylines of other Netflix Marvel shows Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, in addition to Jessica Jones, culminated in this year's premier of The Defenders.
There are not many more details aside from Ritter simply posting it's happening, but the only other season 2 of Marvel's Netflix slate, Daredevil, used the show as a launching pad for The Punisher. Perhaps Jessica Jones season 2 will follow in a similar vein.
