by Matt Bertz on Feb 13, 2017 at 06:22 AM

After joining the Xbox One backward compatibility list late last year, Skate 3 is now available via the EA Vault as well.

Last month, EA announced a large expansion of back catalog games comes to its EA Access service, including Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Skate 3. Today, the skateboarding game we scored an 8.75 finally went live. In his review, former GI editor Nick Ahrens said, "Skate has always been one of those rare games where you can just aimlessly play with no goals or objectives. With the addition of the park creator, this is only increased with the limitless possibility of player-created content."

Our Take
The more playable games the publisher adds to the back catalog for EA Access, the more likely gamers will be to pony up $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year. With titles like Dead Space, Dragon Age: Inquisition, the Mass Effect Trilogy, and several Battlefield games already available, the service appears to be in good shape.
