Goonies Are Good Enough For Lego Dimensions' Wave 8
Warner and TT Games have announced the next three sets that are coming to Lego Dimensions. Wave 8 includes a new level pack, as well as a pair of fun packs, that feature a host of familiar faces.
The Goonies are the stars of the new level pack. This set includes a Sloth minifig, One-Eyed Willy's ship, and a skeleton pipe organ. Players will need to use all three components as they play through the events of the '80s adventure, from Mikey's house, the pirate's lair, and the Goon Docks. It's coming May 9.
Next up is a Hermione fun pack. The Harry Potter hero appears with Buckbeak the Hippogriff, which can also be reshaped into giant owl and fierce falcon variants.
Finally, Chase McCain is back in a new Lego City fun pack. The star of Lego City Undercover has a police helicopter vehicle, which can be reshaped into a hovercraft or plane.

As a person of A Certain Age, I'm delighted to see The Goonies in just about any form. TT Games has affectionately referenced the movie before, in Lego The Lord of The Rings, though they played cute when I asked them about it.
