CommanderVideo Coming Back In Runner3

by Jeff Cork on Sep 26, 2016 at 11:51 AM

It's time to dust off your sneakers – CommanderVideo is coming back. Choice Provisions has announced that Runner3 is on the way, continuing the series it established with Runner2 and the Bit.Trip games.

Choice Provisions, formerly known as Gaijin Games, revealed the news in a blog post and oh-so-brief trailer. Not many details are being provided at this point, including what exactly it is, or what systems you need to play it.

The devs are saying that they're challenging themselves to make a game that's better than Runner2 in every possible way, which is a pretty lofty goal. On the subject of challenge, Choice Provision's Alex Neuse says they're conscious of the game's difficulty, and they're working to ensure that players of all skill levels will be able to fully enjoy the game.

"If you like being challenged relentlessly, will you get that? Yes. (It is us, after all.)" he writes. "But if you prefer being able to experience the entire game without being ultra-challenged, you'll be able to do that as well--without penalty. We have some very interesting tricks up our sleeve as to how we're going to accomplish this, and we'll be revealing them here over the course of development, so keep checking back."
