Telltale’s Batman Premieres In August, Retail Disc In September
Telltale and WB have announced that the first episode of the Batman adventure game will swoop in next month. If you’re the kind of person that prefers having a box on the shelf, you’ll need to wait until September.
Batman will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android in August. Without a specific date, it’s unclear if the mobile versions will arrive simultaneously or later.
A retail season pass disc hits stores on September 13. This will give immediate access to the first episode and enable download of the remaining four as they become available.

Our Take
I’m eager to see how Telltale tackles Batman. The studio specializes in storycraft, but hasn’t really found a great way to deliver action. Batman is as much a cerebral hero as he is an ass-kicker, and having both elements is important.
