Not many world leaders visit a video game studio, but Canada’s Prime Minister seems to have caught the VR bug.

While visiting Ubisoft Montreal, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (pictured below) threw on an Oculus Rift and checked out an upcoming VR game called Eagle Flight.

According to Canada's Global News, Trudeau's visit comes at the heels of the Canadian governments commitment to invest more heavily in the high-tech sectors.

Our Take
This visit is particularly interesting considering how Ubisoft has been courting the Canadian government and seeking help to fight back against a potential hostile takeover from Vivendi. This visit helps adds credibility with investors and the added visibility might help sway provincial and national government in Ubisoft’s favor.
