Indiana Jones Movie Confirmed, But Not As Close As You Hoped

by Ben Reeves on May 05, 2015 at 05:38 AM

For months, rumors have been circulating that Chris Pratt will star in a new Indiana Jones film. Disney and Lucasfilm finally confirmed that the studio still plans on making a new fedora-wearing globetrotting adventure. Unfortunately, a script hasn't even been written yet.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that they intend to make a new Indiana Jones film saying, a new Indy film "Will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it." Sounds good, but there was no word on whether or not there was any legitimacy to the Chris Pratt rumors.

In addition to Star Wars and Indiana Jones, when Disney bought Lucasfilm it also got rights to properties like Willow and Radioland Murders. We wouldn't mind seeing a Willow revival someday, too.
