Dark Horse Digital Star Wars Comics Are On Sale Until They Disappear In Two Days

by Mike Futter on Dec 29, 2014 at 07:03 AM

Earlier this year, Disney announced that Marvel (also owned by the House of Mouse) will take over responsibility for Star Wars comics. That means that Dark Horse’s time with the property, which began in 1990, is coming to a close after nearly 24 years.

As a send-off, the publisher is offering every digital Star Wars comic at 50 percent off. In addition to single issues and omnibuses, there are bundles available covering Knights of the Old Republic, Clone Wars, Dawn of the Jedi, Darth Vader, and more.

For $300, you can get the whole lot, consisting of over 20 years of comics. The list price on this bundle is $2,714.34, according to Dark Horse.

These will be removed from circulation on January 1, 2015, but if you purchase them before they are gone you can re-download them. The expanded universe may have been obliterated like Alderaan, but that doesn’t mean these stories aren’t worth reading. You can check out the bundle (and it's discounted components) on Dark Horse's website.
