NYU Game Center To Host Dragon Age: Inquisition Storytelling Panel

by Mike Futter on Dec 01, 2014 at 11:35 AM

The NYU Game Center has announced a panel focused on one of this fall’s biggest titles. BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition will be the subject of a conversation on storytelling this Thursday, December 4.

Creative director Mike Laidlaw, lead writer David Gaider, and Iron Bull actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. will discuss the topic. The panel will be moderated by Frank Lantz, director of the NYU Game Center.

Topics will include a look at BioWare’s history, crafting a narrative with consideration to game design, and the panelists’ favorite moments from Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The public is invited to attend the event in Brooklyn, New York. Registration information for the 7 p.m. Eastern event this Thursday can be found here. For more on Dragon Age: Inquisition, check out our review.

Our Take
With Dragon Age: Inquisition fresh in our minds, the timing for this event couldn’t be better. My first hands-on experience with Dragon Age: Inquisition was with Mike Laidlaw sitting next to me, and his enthusiasm made that experience (and likely this upcoming event) absolutely worthwhile.
