Get Behind The Wheel Of Forza Motorsport 5 For Free This Weekend
Xbox Live Gold members get a brand new feature this weekend. The company is rolling out a free play weekend for Forza Motorsport 5, and all you need to do is have a current Gold membership to take advantage.
You’ll be able to start revving your engine at midnight Pacific tomorrow, September 4. The event ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 7.
Microsoft is preparing another Forza racing experience for this fall, also. Forza Horizon 2 will be out on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 30. For more, check out our review of Forza Motorsport 5 and our recent preview of Forza Horizon 2.

Microsoft’s ability to offer free weekends is big news, and I’m glad to see this kind of value-add hit the Xbox Live Gold service. I hope this is something we see more often and in partnership with other publishers, as it’s a great hook for the service and the console.
