Toronto Artist Powers Up His Neighborhood Watch

by Harry Mackin on Jun 20, 2014 at 10:02 AM

Toronto-based artist Andrew Lamb decided one day that the neighborhood watch signs around his hometown could use a little livening up. "I walked by I walked by and thought those signs would be much better with a superhero up there," he told CBC news.

Lamb has used wheatpaste to apply cool graphics of iconic video game, movie, and television characters to over 70 signs so far. In addition to looking great, it stands to reason that Lamb's creative work will help improve neighborhood security— after all, who would mess with a neighborhood under Mega Man's protection?
