Ryse Mars’ Chosen DLC Coming This Month
March might be the God of War’s month, but he’s choosing his favorite warriors just a day earlier. Starting on February 28, Ryse: Son of Rome is getting new DLC that asks gladiators to survive in the name of their patron deity.
The Mars’ Chosen pack will bring five new maps, two of which are designed to make the most of the new horde-type mode, Survival. The hook in Ryse’s application of the now standard wave-based combat type is that your health will continuously deplete.
The only way to regain stamina is to kill quickly and brutally. Health will drain faster as you progress through the waves.
The Mars’ Chosen pack, which also comes with the Legionary skin, is priced at $8.99. From February 18 through February 24, the digital version of the base game will be on sale for $39.99. Additional Ryse sales will be on offer from the 25th through the 27th. You can read up on Ryse in our review.
