The Jackdaw In Assassin's Creed IV Has Amazing Glitches

by Mike Trinh on Nov 25, 2013 at 09:28 AM

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is an ambitious entry in the series, one that got a positive review from Game Informer. However, with the Jackdaw playing such a great role, some glitches were bound to arise (literally). These are some of the funniest ones that players have posted.

"Ascension of the Jackdaw"

In this video, Edward Kenway's crew goes flying into the heavens as the Jackdaw rises from a hole in the ocean. Many players have reported getting this bug that turns the ship into the Flying Dutchman. When paired with the hauntingly beautiful song Grande Dosssologia, the glitch becomes even more hilarious.

Your Parking Could Use Some Work

Another commonly reported glitch leaves the Jackdaw partially sunken when leaving it to visit an island. The poor thing shakes and sputters in an effort to right itself, throwing crew mates into the ocean.

To The Moon!

This last bug somehow places the Jackdaw in the sky, allowing the confused player to see a large section of the world and make a huge leap of faith. I think Ubisoft just got an idea for their next Assassin's Creed game.

Glitches are usually annoying and sometimes even game-breaking. However, these Assassin's Creed IV's glitches are just too funny to get mad at. Have you guys run into these issues or any others? Tell us in the comments.
